WEF Conference 2016 in Delhi

The WEF 2016 conference in Delhi spanned six jam-packed days of fascinating workshops, presentations and networking opportunities and was very well attended by many women across about 109 nations.  It was a truly wonderful experience with a warmth and spiritual awareness embraced by all due to the exceptional  hospitality of our host, Harbeen Arora, Chancellor of the Rai University in India.

I was a key speaker on the first day; the topic was “Rewire the brain to break addiction” which was very well received by the audience and resulted in a good Q&A session where I met Surekha Kothari, one of the WEF organisers, who attended my talk. We have subsequently become partners in a new venture and are organising a Spiritual Retreat. You will read more about this under “Soulseekers” on this site as the venture progresses.

I was also fortunate to speak on two other occasions at WEF 2016 on topics surrounding emotional damage and finding one’s true self.

There was a lot of interest in these working sessions and engagement with delegates.

Towards the close of the WEF 2016 conference I was honoured to be chosen to receive an award as “Iconic Women Inspiring all”, presented to me after my final talk.

I was truly sorry to see the end of the conference as I have made some wonderful friends across the world, particularly from Canada, America, Dubai and India.

The final three days of the trip were spent learning more about this amazing country and a trip to Agra and the Taj Mahal were high on my agenda, along with visits to local temples around Delhi and of course a little local shopping.
