For those of you who already experience stress in daily life, lurching from one week to the next in a frenzy of duties at work and at home, spiralling towards the prospect of Christmas can for some be a further addition to an already stressful existence.
The extra work to make a memorable occasion for family and friends can sometimes dampen the peace and joy that we expect to feel on that magic day. Past memories play a part at this time as to attitudes towards what should be a time of warmth and love expressed to all, remembering those less fortunate and a time for giving.
“Christmastide: Goodwill to all men!” An expression of positive anticipation we can all identify with. Behind the surface merriment, as a new year dawns, is a natural time for self-reflection – looking back over the year and seeing what changes need to be made to nurture inner happiness and wellbeing for positive forward growth.
If it gets to the point of not being able to see the wood for Christmas trees please get in touch.
